Posted by: Timo on Jan 31, 2006 – 02:50 PM | Read 1146 times

RDRS has distributed more than 9,000 quilts, 600 blankets and 375 baby clothes to about 10,000 poor people affected by the cold wave in Panchgarh, Thakurgoan, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat and Kurigram Districts in northwest Bangladesh.

Selection of recipients and distribution was done by RDRS through Deputy Commissioners (heads of local government in the Districts), partner NGOs and member organisations of ACT International Forum.

RDRS is grateful to its donor-partners for their generous donation to assist poor people of northwest Bangladesh.

Warm cloths – Regarding

I have read the report of the RDRS and they have distributed warm cloths at Bangladesh, it is fine and I appreciate the work of the RDRS. In the same time there were heavy rainfall in Tamilnadu and Neesha storm destroyed many cultivated lands of crops and animals. Nearly more than 200 people were died. Many of our congregation people were lost their cultivation crops and animals due to the Neesha storm and Flood. Please consider the state of Tamilnadu also and do the best of help for affected people in Tamilnadu. This is my humble suggestion. Thanking you,

yours in His Service,

Rev.A.Solomon Rajan Babu, a member of CCA committee of ALC, Tamilnadu, Cuddalore,
