On November 30, 1999 during the Asia Church Leader's Conference (ACLC), the twelve-member Asia Regional Coordination Committee reported on their activities over the last three years, explaining how they drafted ARCC's "Terms of Reference," the terms for the position of the Regional Coordinator and the Office. During the ACLC session they reported that the office is to be located in Bangkok, Thailand and the candidates' interviews will be carried out in February, 2000. They presented a proposed draft of Terms of Reference to the ACLC, and informed participants of programs planned for the next two years: A Seminar on Mission; Missionary Training Program to be held both at Gurukul, India, as well as Sabah, in Malaysia Seminary; Mekong region Mission Partners Consultation, in April, 2000; and an Asian Church Leadership Conference in 2001.
All of these agendas were discussed in the plenary session. See the outcome of the plenary session here.
