That the Asian Lutheran Press Service (ALPS) be strengthened and revitalized as a means of communication among Lutheran churches in Asia and that it be placed under the Office of the Asia Regional Coordinator.

For the Asia Regional Coordinator to be in charge of gathering news from member churches for publication in the Asia Lutheran.

That member churches be encouraged to rethink the understanding of what it means to be church in light of the developing technology and within the new understanding of communication skills.

That, since communication is central to mission as well as all of life, the churches should give priority to:

• Building networks.
• Developing communication desks in each member church.
• Emphasizing both human communication and electronic communication.
• Using communication in a prophetic role.
