Posted by: Timo on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 | Read 2393 times
Warm greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
At the outset I would like to apologize for almost two years of ALN’s silence on the website. As I took this new responsibility in October 2011, it took time to organize things systematically.
However, I would like to let you know that we are back in business seriously and I assure you that six copies per year will be published.
ALN 57 can be downloaded now and ALN 55 and 56 can be downloaded from "back issues" page.
Your comments are welcomed!

RSS feed logoAll websites can share news from Asia-Lutheran.org website by utilizing RSS automation technology. RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication”. The idea and word “Syndication” came from the printing press and newspaper world. It simply means: “one newspaper can share news and articles from another newspaper”. On the web it is even simpler to share news from website to website. RSS enables the Asia Lutheran Communion to enhance communion through better communication.

Good news for all of you with slow internet connection! This is a new feature designed for those with new handheld computers (mobile phones) or old computers with an old modem connection.

Now you can download the titles of the news before downloading the whole ALN page. This is very handy with mobile systems like hand held computer, palmtops and mobile telephones. This site will transfer minimum kilobytes, around 3000 kb, without graphics in order to give you fast and cost-effective way to browse the news titles before opening the whole article. The address you need to type in your mobile gadget is http://mobile.asia-lutheran.org. This offers a fast way to see the titles with slow internet connection.
